Twins take one from the Yankees!

NEW YORK -- As the sellout crowd in baseball's most hostile stadium went suddenly silent Tuesday night, Krista Jones leapt to her feet and let out a shriek.
"That was for Pops," she said, as her husband, the Minnesota Twins' Jacque Jones, circled the bases in the sixth inning of the Twins' 2-0 victory over the New York Yankees at Yankee Stadium in the first game of the American League Division Series. "He needed to do this. He did this for his Dad."
He did it for his father, Hardy, who succumbed to cancer last week.
He did it for Johan Santana, the Twins' stellar starter who seemed to be pitching in quicksand -- able to escape from trouble inning after inning, thanks to some superb defense.
He did it to help the Twins to a victory in a game most of the 55,749 in attendance gave Minnesota little chance of winning.-Paul Levy, Star Tribune

GAME 2 is tonight right about the same time that I should be winning the 177 million dollar lottery... I'll be watching the rest of the games from the front row if that happens.
